I have a cannabis delivery scheduled for tomorrow but wasn’t given an arrival time

I haven’t had to do much adjusting to working from home.

The job I had two years ago was remote from day one, and I enjoyed having this degree of freedom while still working a full time job.

That job resulted in a lay off towards the end of last year. When I landed my current position in January, I had no idea that I’d be working from home again in just two month’s time. The pandemic hit in early March and my company among many others sent all of their office support staff to work from home. On the one hand, it’s amazing because I can get everything from the grocery or department store delivered to my house. I can make a grocery list and get it delivered to my front door just three hours later. It doesn’t matter when the deliveries are scheduled because I rarely leave my house with my remote job. This is how I buy cannabis now as well. I quit visiting cannabis dispensaries after they all announced their own cannabis delivery services. They all vary to a considerable degree, though. My favorite dispensary offers free statewide delivery on any sized order, but there is only one available delivery date each week for every region in the state. Other dispensaries offer next day delivery, but they charge anywhere between $10 and $25 on every order under $200. Today I made an online order at the cannabis dispensary that is a few miles from their house. They charge $15 for delivery, and when I was given a delivery window, it stated that the delivery could come at any time between 8am to 7pm. Even though I work from home and will be here all day tomorrow, I really wish the cannabis dispensary could give me a slightly more specific delivery window. Having an 11-hour appointment window is unacceptable.
