One guy won the grand prize which was a $100 gift card to spend in the dispensary
Last Tuesday was the grand opening for the store where I work. The lobby was filled for 6 hours on the afternoon of the grand opening & both of us had a line of people outside of the store. One reason that the lobby was so busy is due to the fact that this supplier is 1 of the first of its kind in the area. I work in a marijuana dispensary. Marijuana has only been legal for medical use in this state for a few months. This particular dispensary is the only 1 inside of a 100 mile radius. A lot of medical marijuana patients drove quite a distance to visit the dispensary on the afternoon of the grand opening, however both of us had a immense sale & a couple of games & giveaways. Both of us had a wheel of prizes & all the people got to spin for free. No 1 was required to make a single purchase as long as they had a medical marijuana card on hand; Hardly any of people 1 t-shirt, cups, & packed with our marijuana dispensary logo. One guy won the grand prize which was a $100 gift card to spend in the dispensary. There was only 1 space on the entire wheel with the grand prize, so I wasn’t surprised that only 1 guy ended up landing on that special spot. The fortunate guy spent the $100 gift card on cannabis edibles! She purchased some lollipops & some chocolate bars from the edible rack next to the register. The man was certainly excited that he won the grand prize & he even spent some of his own cash on marijuana.
