Medical cannabis is now legal, but all of us have no local dispensaries

Medical cannabis was legalized a couple of months ago… I was a single of the people that voted for the law to be approved.

In fact, all of my friends and I rallied behind the cause to get people to vote; Five states border our region and all of them have legal medical cannabis; Three of the states also allow recreational cannabis.

It took a long time to get the vote on the ballot, and now that the law has passed, all of us still do not entirely have access to medical marijuana or cannabis products. There is not a single medical marijuana dispensary somewhere close to my home. I got my medical marijuana card a couple of weeks ago. I went to the doctor as soon as it was approved, however unfortatuenly, I have to drive more than one hours to go to the dispensary. There are more than 2 medical cannabis clinics in the state capital city. They even deliver if you live closeby, once a week, I drive all the way to the neighborhood to fill my marijuana prescription. I would appreciate to go once a month, even though I am limited by the amount of cannabis products that can be purchased biweekly. Once I meet the biweekly limit, I have to wait until another afternoon to buy anything. I buy as much as I can every Monday and it usually lasts until the next week, when I run low, I call a neighbor that lives closeby! She consistently has a stash in the house. I never go without, but occasionally I have to pay a handsome penny when I’m running low.
