I had to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the dispensary.
I knew it was going to be very busy, because we were having a sale on all of our wax, shatter, and marijuana concentrate products.
We have more than 1,000 different items in stock. We are absolutely one of the biggest cannabis dispensaries in the valley. We have a sale every weekend on something different and there is always a line of people waiting to come into the dispensary. I wasn’t surprised that the store was busy on Friday when I arrived. I was surprised by the fact that the AC was not working. I walked through the front doors and I could feel the warm indoor air. I asked the lady behind the desk if the AC was broken and she said yes. I knew it was going to be a long morning, but I absolutely thought the AC problem would be fixed by the afternoon. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any AC at all on Friday, Saturday, and half of Sunday. There was an issue with the building maintenance and the AC needed to be repaired by a licensed contractor instead of a maintenance guy. It was really hot inside the building. At least the wax, shatter, and concentrate products were cool. We keep them in a giant refrigerator so they never melt or ooze. I spent all three weekend days wishing I had requested those days off. I was happier than ever when the AC problem was finally repaired. Since we went without AC all weekend, the manager of the store sent everyone home with some free items from the shop.
