My state took about 3 legislative sessions before they recognized the ability of marijuana to help in medical situations. After they decided to believe marijuana was a medical herb, they put it on the referendum. The general populace agreed to allow the use of medical marijuana as long as people had a medical marijuana card. Some people are now pushing recreational marijuanabecause they think recreational marijuana needs to be legalized. I guess that a lot of the push to legal marijuana in any capacity has to do with the revenue our state takes in. As with cigarettes, the state is entitled to a sizable chunk of the cost to purchase cigarettes, as taxes. Medical marijuana was so overpriced to purchase in the medical marijuana dispensary that some people chose to use street dealers instead. Although it is illegal for this kind of marijuana deal, the taxes our state imposes on marijuana via the medical marijuana dispensary, has made the cost out of this world. I was trying to purchase gummies, plus I couldn’t guess how fancy they were. I couldn’t even afford to buy CBD candies for my pain. I could go online plus purchase candies, inhalants, plus even creams that were infused with CBD, however since I was buying them from a neighboring state, I was paying less than half the cost of what I was paying here. I wish I could do the same with medical marijuana. It would be so much more effective for sufferers to have THC in the gummies than the CBD, to help with the pain I endure.
