A couple of months before I turned 21, I started talking about all the exciting things I wanted to do for my birthday.
One particular thing that was making me feel especially happy was going to a marijuana dispensary.
Marijuana has been legalized in this state for practically 5 years plus I only recently became seasoned enough to purchase the product from a legal dispensary. I told my mother that I was thinking about going to a dispensary plus she was entirely exasperated. She told me that it would be best to go to a bar plus drink beers with my friends. I told my mother that the number of drunk driving accidents that occur on someone’s 21st birthday are absolutely staggering. I didn’t even plan to go to a bar that night. On the afternoon of my birthday, my mother called to wish me a cheerful afternoon. The other thing she said on the iphone was not to go to a marijuana dispensary. She begged me to reconsider the horrible move to do that. Unluckily for my mom, my pals were already hanging out at that venue plus the group of us were waiting for the dispensary to open. I knew that my mother certainly wasn’t cheerful with the decision, however if the government feels that it is safe enough to be legalized, then my mother honestly shouldn’t have a problem either. I never informed her about the fun I had on that afternoon. It would have been great to share the stories of going to see unusual cannabis shops. I hope one of these days my mother will understand that marijuana isn’t some dangerous drug.
