This is the hottest time of year, it’s straight-forward to believe just great about living where I do.
The weather is usually so perfect.
The sky is usually cloudless and the sunlight shines bright all day. And the temperature stay so close to perfect I smile just thinking about it. However, this Wintertide is all the sweeter because I just saved the most money ever on my Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling bills over the hot summer. For the past 6 or 7 years, I’ve absolutely done our section to try and lower the amount of time we use air conditioning during the summer. Granted, getting through a Summer separate from using Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling is not a satisfactory thing to consider. The dry heat in this region would be just too overwhelming to do something appreciate that. At the same time, we needn’t overdo it when it comes to Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling either. This summer, I believe it was all the extra stuff the people I was with and I did in our home that absolutely helped us out in a big way. Of course, the people I was with and I sealed up the house, mitigated a lot of the direct sunshine heating and kept the control component in the 72’s during the day. But my wife and I added stuff that also absolutely helped out. Like, the wife and I didn’t use the dryer at all during the day. Both of us hung our clothes out to dry so the wife and I didn’t needlessly heat up the house. I went so far as to do all the cooking outside on the gas grill. Again, no stove or oven to heat up the house. Shoot, the wife and I even changed out all the lightbulbs to ease up on heating up the ambient air in our home.
