It’s challenging for a regularly farmer to compete in the cannabis business

Some people are basically extinct, & are not aware of it yet.

I have done all sorts of business with my old neighbor Bobby for over a decade now. He grows his own cannabis buds, & I drive out to his farm once a month or so to stock back up. I knew Bobby back in university, & but he always treated me well. I honestly must confess that if he wasn’t selling me cannabis buds I never would have seen him again! Bobby is an unusual guy, & this was plainly demonstrated to everyone in the area when the new cannabis shop opened up. Bobby saw them as competition, & was thinking he could go head to head with them in terms of cannabis sales. He had no idea whatsoever that he was a dinosaur, & now that the cannabis shop was open, his nights as a local purveyor were numbered. When you deal with a local grower similar to Bobby, your chances are always “what you see is what you get” because he doesn’t grow 50 odd strains of cannabis. He simply cannot compete with the current cannabis store, which has literally hundreds of odd options, not even including the CBD oils & edibles. His prices are substantially lower than the cannabis store, I will give him that, but it’s not enough to keep me driving out to his farm all the time. The cannabis dispensary is more convenient, with a far better selection, & the people that work there aren’t creepy in the least. Bobby didn’t stay in the cannabis corporation actually much longer, but he did start selling his stuff straight to the cannabis store.
