The cannabis industry is a very competitive business

Some people are basically extinct, and don’t even know it as of yet… I have done actual business with my good friend John for over a decade now.

He basically grows his own marijuana regularly, and I drive out to his farm once a week or so for a resupply. I knew John back in private school, and even though he constantly treated me nicely, I honestly must confess that if he wasn’t selling me weed I never would have talked to him again! John is an unusual guy, and this was plainly demonstrated to everyone in the area when the current weed shop opened up. John saw them as competition, and thought he could actually compete with them in terms of cannabis sales. He didn’t seem to realize that he was a dinosaur, and now that the weed shop was open, his afternoons as a local purveyor were numbered! When you deal with a local grower such as John, your chances are constantly “what you see is what you get” because obviously he doesn’t grow 50 unusual strains of cannabis. He most definitely cannot compete with the modern weed shop, which has hundreds of unusual options, not even including the CBD oils and edibles. His prices are definitely lower than the weed shop, I will supply him that, but it’s not enough to keep myself and others driving out to his farm on a regular basis. The weed shop is more convenient, with a way nicer selection, and the people that task there aren’t totally creepy. John didn’t stay in the cannabis corporation very much longer, although he did start selling his stuff directly to the weed shop.
