Pay per click doesn’t always work

I had a cannabis dispensary, a great team of budtenders, a nice location and a website, and what more did I need? I couldn’t seem to get people looking at my store.

Any supplier I got would be people who just happened to see the store.

Where were my online people? I then tried pay per click advertising. With PPC you pay everytime someone clicks on your website link regardless if they buy something… You get a top spot on page 1 of google however. I figured I had it all figured out. I saw that people were clicking on the link and looking at the website. I wasn’t getting any sales. I offer curbside pickup, cannabis delivery and quite a few different in store sales. Why was no 1 taking advantage of this? I finally gave up on PPC and consulted with an SEO corporation. They told myself and others that I needed to try search engine SEO strategies instead. I needed more organic results to make my page rank higher on google, not just pay for it. As a part of SEM I needed to get a new web build too. The company said that my website was difficult to navigate and read. It wasn’t catchy and mostly was confusing. The web builder took a hold of it and a few weeks later produced a much better result, however now my website is live and I am already seeing quite a few online sales. I like that I don’t pay for ads anymore, I just pay to have a quality website that ranks on google.
