These days, I’m changing it up.
Life is now more about adventure and discovery than it ever has been before. I’m just no longer playing it safe all the time. Even when it comes to using recreational marijuana I’m trying different things. I was raised not to take any kind of risks unless they were clearly calculated to be in my favor. Unfortunately, that carried over to my adult life. However the more I’ve lived, I’ve learned one thing for sure. Life can really be random and no amount of playing it safe will change that. So, I have chosen to step out of my comfort zone a bit. Instead of weighing every single decision, I’m simply going with how I feel instead. And for me, the fact that I want to try out recreational marijuana feels just right. Believe it or not, I never used cannabis or even ate a pot brownie as I was going through my formative years. There were plenty of opportunities to join in but I chose not to. However, now the cannabis products are legal, I took a trip to the local cannabis spot near me. A friend of mine asked me to go out there one day. And I went with my immediate response because it felt right and that was yes. I was a bit nervous when I walked into the cannabis dispensary. That had to do with years of myths and misinformation when it came to marijuana. But what I found was a cannabis dispensary full of interesting cannabis products and even better people. Once again, following my gut and my feelings I’ve introduced myself to something that has become very beneficial in my life.
