When I bought into a franchise cannabis dispensary, I was put in charge of my own marketing plus my website development.
- The owner of the franchise recommended a local online marketing plus web development business, but it was my supplier now, to grow it or to blow it! Considering what I paid for the franchise, I didn’t not want to blow this one.
I was hoping to have an undoubtedly successful cannabis dispensary. I called the online marketing supplier to tell them the owner had recommended I use them plus asked for one of the cannabis dispensary specialists. My associate and I talked about what we wanted to accomplish plus how much information I wanted on my website. I wanted my customers to know who our cannabis dispensary pharmacists were plus I wanted our online menu. I was offering delivery services, plus curbside pickups. I didn’t want to break any local laws, which the marketing plus web developer was well-versed in. She told me she knew all the laws in our state, plus she could easily create a website that was law compliant. She told me that she would add plenty of SEO so my website would come up in the top five results page when someone searched for cannabis dispensaries in their area. I enjoyed everything she was doing, but I had only one question: what does SEO mean? She said long story short, it was keywords plus phrases placed in the website plus our ads, that helped search engines believe my website should be shown to people’s searches. My question was to ask how long it would take before I could look at my cannabis dispensary website. She asked me to provide another 48 hours, plus she would contact me.
