I think we have all had some kind of encounter with the police that makes us shudder.
My experience came when I had just got my license.
I had three friends in the car with me, and I was pulled over. I knew I was probably driving too fast, and my friends were horsing around. I am thinking now, that the cop may have just been trying to warn us about how our actions were making us appear. He pulled us all out of my car, and he made us go through sobriety tests. That encounter was enough to make me have a healthy respect for following driving laws. I am always very careful with how I drive. Now that I am a user of medical marijuana, I am a bit paranoid about picking up my marijuana and taking it home. I worry that if I do something when I still have the medical marijuana in the car, that I am going to get pulled over and arrested. I have a medical marijuana card, but the police may not even care about that. Some police have become quite adamant about any type of infraction, even if you have the legal paperwork to refute it. I drive so carefully that people must think I am actually trying to avoid being seen. I just don’t want to get in trouble for transporting my marijuana. After my last experience with a traffic stop, I will do anything to avoid a stop when I have marijuana in the car. I just want to always be careful
