There was definitely a struggle involved when it came to getting my medical cannabis card.
And I was honestly beginning to think that I wasn’t going to get one.
The reason is because the state that I grew up in has very strict laws when it comes to cannabis products. Recreational marijuana is outright banned, and medical marijuana, while technically legal, they purposely made it almost impossible to get a medical cannabis card. Not to mention it was a struggle to find a medical marijuana doctor near me. Especially finding a doctor with medical marijuana certifications. The thing is, I wasn’t planning on using marijuana products for recreational purposes, I needed it to help me function. I have had multiple health issues since I was young, and I have found that most of them go away thanks to using a mix of cbd products and vape products. I also love cannabis gummies, but I rarely get to try any of these due to the strict laws. That is why, as soon as I was financially stable, I moved out of state. It was hard, because I was leaving behind all I had ever known, family included, and starting anew. But a life is not worth living if you are not even able to function properly on a day to day basis. Now in my current state, using marijuana for recreational and medical reasons is completely legal, and I make my trips to the cbd store all of the time. It feels so good to be able to walk into the medical marijuana dispensary.
