I had been with the supplier for over five years when I tried for my first promotion.
- This was the 1st task I had out of grad school & absolutely the supplier that I wanted to work with.
That said, I wasn’t 100% sure that I was up to the taking on the responsibility that came with this current task. I spent a long weekend prior to the first interview in the sun with a cannabis edible my sibling Ed left me. I’ve enjoyed recreational marijuana a bit since I was in school. But then again my studies & then my first internship took up much of my time & focus. Plus, marijuana was illegal & I sure wasn’t tossing my future away over a tote of weed that I didn’t even know what the THC level was. So once I started my job after I got my Master’s degree, I only used cannabis products when Ed brought them to me or was in town. Well, I feel I aced the interview because there wasn’t even a 2nd one before I was provided the position of leading the current regional office. What didn’t dawn on me until I absolutely moved out here was that I can shop for marijuana on sale! Like this completely got by me. And not only do I know the THC satisfied, I’m not putting my career in jeopardy because recreational marijuana is legal here. I’m so thankful to be able to buy sativa strains for sale because I’m glad to have a stress reliever. I’m for sure capable of doing this work but jeez it’s pretty intense so far. I’ll get the hang of it but I’m sure glad the weekend comes with long walks in the sun & some sativa products.
