When medical marijuana was on the ballot, my feelings were pretty much ambivalent. I didn’t give a damn one way or the other. On 1 hand, it seemed like cannabis should be legal if alcohol was going to be legal. I mean, it’s fairly well known that booze is a whole lot worse for your body that marijuana products. All that said, I was also sort of skeptical of the politics behind legalizing medical marijuana. I believed this was just about allowing people to buy it so the state could collect all the profits. There is a fee for a medical marijuana card and I’m sure they are getting a big split from hard edged cannabis products. That left an exhausting taste in my mouth. But the measure passed and I sort of acknowledged that fact and moved on with my very busy lifestyle. It wasn’t even a year later before I was given a cancer diagnosis. And that changed everything along with my perspective when it came to using medical marijuana. These days, I’m in remission and a deeply grateful person indeed. The indica products were so key to me getting through the chemo. The Indica strains helped me with the nausea and bolstered my appetite. I was able to put healthy food in me thanks to the indica strains for sale at the cannabis dispensary. But I also discovered the finest sativa strains and I’m lucky to be able to continue to access the local cannabis spot for them. My normal isn’t so straightforward and the sativa strains are helping me to maintain a more positive and hopeful outlook indeed.
