Last Saturday was my only day off work and I didn’t want to spend it running errands and sitting in the car all day.
Friday night, I got online and I ordered all of the things that I needed.
I ordered pick up from the grocery store. I got some eggs, bread, milk, and cheese. I dropped off my clothes at the dry cleaner on Friday night, so I can pick them up on my way to work on Monday. I also ordered some marijuana vaping supplies from the dispensary close to my house. Usually I go to the marijuana dispensary, but I really wanted to stay home and rest with my feet up. I ordered several different items from the dispensary including a new battery for my marijuana vape pen and three different distillate cartridges. The app online let me choose any delivery time that I wanted for Saturday, so I picked 10 AM. My grocery pickup was scheduled for 11 and I wanted to get all of my marijuana supplies before I had to leave the house. I thought an hour would be plenty of time, just in case there was a complication and the driver was late. At half past 10, the marijuana dispensary delivery driver still had not shown up. I called the dispensary and I talked to the manager. She told me that the driver left 30 minutes ago. I told the woman that my house was only a couple of minutes away from the dispensary. She put me on hold and contacted the driver. The guy told her that he was lost, but he was on the way. I still don’t understand how the driver could have gotten lost, when my place is only 2 miles away from the dispensary.
