I work at a bar and we are always busy on Friday nights.
Most bars are busy on a Friday night, but the reason that we are busy is due to the fact that we are located next to a cannabis dispensary and lounge.
The cannabis dispensary and lounge takes up the entire West corner of the shopping plaza. They have the entire back half of the shopping plaza. I’ve been into the cannabis dispensary and loaned a couple of times. The place is definitely upscale and there are some nice places to sit down and relax. It’s not exactly my scene. I’d rather have a loud bar with karaoke music and a couple of cowboys in the corner. Friday nights we have karaoke at the bar. Every once in a while a guy from the cannabis Lounge will come into the bar and cause trouble. Most of the guys from the cannabis dispensary are usually relaxed and chill. Last weekend the bouncer had to call the cops twice when two guys got into a fight early in the night. Both of the guys were escorted off the property and told not to come back again that night. Shortly after midnight, I recognized one of those two guys in the bar again. I told the bouncer to watch out for a problem and 10 minutes later there was a fight over by the pool table. That guy was involved again. This time the police escorted the guy off the property in handcuffs. Now he has a no trespassing order and can’t even visit the dispensary because it is 100 feet from the bar.
