It’s amazing how your perspectives change over time

It’s odd but true that how one is raised goes such a long way as to how one lives their life.

I know this to be true because I am still getting rid of stuff I was indoctrinated in and I’m fifty.

It’s amazing to see behaviors and beliefs shift after a lifetime. This is not any more true than my original opinion on cannabis. I had in my brain that cannabis was awful and those that were using cannabis products were wrong. Of course, I didn’t have all that much evidence of this. It’s just the way I was trained as a young woman. And it stuck. I remember looking down at fellow collegians who used cannabis. In my eyes they were simply shiftless and not to be trusted. Now what sort of stupid idea is that? I am ashamed that I once considered any sort of marijuana supplier to be wrong. Well, I am talking out of the other side of my mouth now. That’s because I am thankful to have access to cannabis and cannabis products. This is because I have found that they are helping me on physical and emotional levels. I’m thankful I had a friend who kept suggesting that I try marijuana products for relief. I have had some recent health problems and she thought that cannabis and CBD might just be an answer for me. What a good friend because she was spot on. And without her gentle pushing, I would never have ventured into the cannabis dispensary and changed my life and my perspective.
