Downtown there is a huge population of homeless people. Sometimes the homeless people like to hang out in the parking lot of the marijuana dispensary. The parking lot for the marijuana dispensary is adjacent to the parking lot for the airport. Overnight the parking lot is used by a lot of homeless people to sleep in their cars. There really isn’t anything that we can do about it as long as the vagrants stay off of the marijuana dispensary property. Yesterday morning when I went to the dispensary to pick up an order and there was a lady in the parking lot that was screaming. The crazy lady was yelling at the top of her lungs. I had the window down, but I really couldn’t understand exactly what she was saying. I don’t think she was trying to go into the marijuana dispensary, but the security guard was standing by the door just in case. I tried to park on the other side of the lot so I could bypass the crazy woman who was yelling, but she walked over to the parking lot where I was sitting in my car and waited for me to get out. Thankfully the security officer saw the woman about to approach me. He walked over to the area where I was standing and asked the woman to step back. He also threatened to call the police if the woman did not leave the parking lot immediately. I definitely felt more safe and secure once the security officer stepped in and intervened.
