When a delivery driver brings food to your home ,do you tip them? Back in the afternoon (or was it last year? COVID has warped our sense of time) you would order a couple of pizzas, tip the driver an extra couple of bucks, and it was no immense deal. These days you locale an order with Grub Hub or Door Dash or any of those rip-off factories, and you pay for the food and taxes, then you pay a hefty maintenance charge, and are still expected to tip the driver! These days 2 pizzas costs you $50, so they can screw off if they expect a tip! The same goes for the cannabis delivery service, which cause myself and others an issue the other afternoon… I guess it wasn’t the fault of the cannabis delivery driver, because her boss should have known better, however when the child asked myself and others for a tip after spending $350 on cannabis, I flipped. I was nice to the kid, however called up her boss at the cannabis dispensary and provided him a piece of our mind. The woman had the nerve to say to myself and others that the cannabis drivers rely on those tips for a little extra. I told him flat out that if the cannabis dispensary didn’t pay their employees enough money to live on, why were they passing that expense on to me? I may be a dick about tipping, for cannabis drivers for anyone else, however our anger is aimed at the cheap company owners who try to short change their workers.
