I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and I am still getting to know some of my co-workers.
I like the job a lot, but I can’t smoke pot.
I had to take a drug test when I got the job. I stayed sober for 60 days so I would pass the test. I started smoking marijuana as soon as I got the job. I’ve always been worried that someone will find out. Last weekend, I ran into my boss at the marijuana dispensary. The guy was in line right in front of me. I knew it was my office as soon as I saw the guy. In fact, I thought I recognized his car in the parking lot. I didn’t want to say anything to my boss and I tried to remain heading as much as possible. Unfortunately, the budtender called my name and his name at the same time. His head turned very quickly and our eyes met in a flash. The guy shook his finger at me as if I was a naughty child. I felt like I got caught speeding by the police. I didn’t know what to do or say. Both of us went to separate budtenders to complete our marijuana order. My boss finished first and I came out to the parking lot after I thought he was gone. He was actually waiting by my truck. The two of us talked for a couple of minutes. Basically, he agreed to keep my secret if I would keep his. We aren’t going to talk about the fact that both of us were at the marijuana dispensary for the same reason.
