Taking cannabis for anxiety

I was worried about the side effects caused by my pharmaceutical medications.

When taking them, I felt lethargic and couldn’t be productive.

These medications had me feeling dizzy and suffering frequent headaches. At one point I even dealt with an itchy rash. I am prescribed a drug that gives me terrible nausea every single time I take it. I swallow it on a full stomach but it makes no difference. I have experienced so many side effects due to pharmaceutical medications that it’s a challenge to determine the difference between my actual medical problems and the medicines themselves. It’s a weird process of attempting to weigh the benefits against the drawbacks. The medications that are to treat my anxiety and yet cause me stress. They are also addictive. I need to do something to combat my depression and stress, but I wasn’t willing to accept the long-term consequences of conventional pharmaceuticals. I started searching for a saver alternative and came across cannabis. I read quite a few studies as well as real-person accounts of successful treatment with a combination of THC and CBD. I went to my regular doctor and inquired about access to medical marijuana but he wasn’t receptive to the idea. I found a new doctor who was willing to prescribe cannabis to treat my anxiety. I got my medical marijuana card and headed straight to the dispensary. I was amazed by the many options. Fortunately, the budtender was really knowledgeable and helped me with a selection. I’ve now tried a variety of strains and consumption methods. I’ve settled on tinctures because they are fast-acting and very discreet. The difference in my health, mood and energy levels has been startling.
