It’s been a slog for nearly 2 months now. First, our bestie Pat and I moved. It wasn’t a big move, like around the world or anything. It was a cross town transfer essentially. Still, we had to pack up all of our stuff and then set up a beachside house once again. But the nice thing is that both of us moved just down the road from our favorite local cannabis spot. That was a positive and even better, both of us were able to prefer the new cannabis cafe as well. However, as soon as Pat and I moved and just started to unpack, I got sent away on business. Of course, both of us could go buy a truck load of booze and poison ourselves to death but using recreational weed is still not allowed. There is just no logic to that at all. However, Ed and I are fortunate to be able to go to the state next door to shop for marijuana for sale legally. And that is a huge help, not to mention another factor in this state finally coming to its senses on satisfactory cannabis legislation. Until that day, Ed and I have to go over the line if both of us want to peruse cannabis products. Still, it beats the criminal alternative of having to try and find weed on the QT. I hate that as I never think the THC content or exactly who I’m dealing with. If and when I happen to meet a cannabis grower, then there’d be no problem. But I’m just not that fortunate. The nearest cannabis dispensary to us is almost a 200 minute drive. So Ed and I just make a weekend out of it. The town both of us go to is actually such a lovely spot with all sorts of cool natural places to enjoy. We get a hotel suite for the weekend and make dinner reservations for the ever-growing list of good eating establishments we’re discovering. It’s hard to believe all that’s gone down in just the last couple of years.

Of course, people all experienced the difficulties brought on by the pandemic.

Getting together with the high school gang has been rather interesting this year.

We all sort of did our best to stay in touch when both of us decided to go off to various colleges.

There are like a dozen of us in that group from highschool. We were gaming nerds who relied on each other to be our only social network. While all the cool teenagers were off smoking recreational marijuana and drinking, both of us were the a singles hanging out, eating pizza and watching films on TV. Being pretty square wasn’t all that easy. Yet, it also had a ton of benefits that I would easily understand until I left for school and beyond. Plus, both of us all came from similar backgrounds and would need all the assistance both of us could get when it came to paying for college. And it was very nice that both of us waited until college before experimenting with using cannabis and alcohol. By that point, both of us were pretty intense about our future so both of us didn’t get out of hand when it came to getting wild. But as both of us decided to go through the years, works and families took higher precedence and both of us didn’t get-together as much. So when both of us finally caught up this summertime, it was good and both of us all made a quick trip to the local cannabis spot as well.
