How much longer can this pandemic situation keep us trapped inside? I don’t miss interacting with people, however I miss spending time outdoors.

Last Wednesday was the grand opening for the store where I work.

The lobby was filled for 6 hours on the day of the grand opening and we had a line of people outside of the store. One reason that the lobby was so tied up is due to the fact that this company is 1 of the first of its kind in the area. I work in a marijuana dispensary. Marijuana has only been legal for medical use in this state for a few months. This unique dispensary is the only 1 inside of a 100 mile radius. Every one of us had a wheel of prizes and everyone got to spin for free. No 1 was required to make a single purchase as long as they had a medical marijuana card on hand. Only a couple of people 1 t-shirt, cups, and packed with our marijuana dispensary logo. One woman won the grand prize which was a $100 gift card to spend in the dispensary. There was only 1 space on the entire wheel with the grand prize, so I wasn’t surprised that only 1 woman ended up landing on that special spot. The lucky woman spent the $100 gift card on cannabis edibles, but she purchased some lollipops and some chocolate bars from the edible rack next to the register. The woman was unquestionably gleeful that she won the grand prize and she even spent some of her own cash on marijuana.

I don’t think exactly why I let myself drift off plus end up taking our life just totally for granted. One of the worst things I ignored was our health. That was a mistake I hope to never repeat.
