It’s nice living in a neighborhood with so many kind and interesting neighbors.
There’s an elderly couple that lives at the end of the street who used to toil in the film industry in Los Angeles. The man was a film editor while his husband worked as an actress in cable shows for several decades. They’re several of the nicest people I have ever met, and I consistently know honored whenever they invite my husband and I over for a cup of Tim Hortons Latte or coffee. Then there are Bob and Genie who live next door to us and we’ve become like best friends over the past several years of living on this block. Occasionally every one of us invite them over for lunch when we’re making something delicious like pork ribs, while they like to invite us over for little cocktail parties at least once a week. Our other nextdoor neighbor, George, is a professional marijuana grower for a medical cannabis company. He prefers to show me photos he takes at toil of the gorgeous cannabis plants as they tower in his manager’s indoor grow facility. While he may not be the head grower for that company, he is slowly laboring his way up to that position. I love buying cannabis from this particular dispensary because I suppose that my nextdoor buddy George played a section in bringing it to market. It’s a gorgeous cannabis flower that smokes even better than it looks. The effects are phenomenal and they tend to last for at least several thirds, which is much better than some of the cannabis flower products I get from other dispensaries in this state.
