Cannabis topicals help with arthritis

I have arthritis pain that is the result of joint inflammation

I just recently learned about cannabis-infused topicals. I knew that marijuana was available in loose flower, oils, edibles and drinks but wasn’t aware of the many lotions and ointments. Cannabis topicals are applied directly to the surface of the sink and used for fast-acting and localized relief from pain and inflammation. They are usually non-intoxicating. I can benefit from the therapeutic effects at any time of day or night because there’s no worry over THC getting me high. The products often smell of wintergreen or clove because of the addition of soothing soils. They smell nice and no one realizes I’m using a cannabis product. Cannabis topicals are great for my sore knees and hips. The cannabinoids are absorbed into the bloodstream more slowly than if I was smoking or consuming edibles and the effects are limited to where the product is applied. I’ve tried sprays, soaps, bath salts, lotions, patches and oils that are infused with cannabis and made with organic materials and essential oils. The topicals usually include both THC and CBD, which are active compounds in the cannabis plant. They bind to receptors in the body that are responsible for numerous biological functions, including anti-inflammation and pain relief. Applying cannabis-infused topicals allows the THC and CBD to bind directly to receptors found in skin, muscle tissues and nerves. It not only provides relief to that specific area but absorbs into the bloodstream to get distributed throughout the body. I have arthritis pain that is the result of joint inflammation. I’ve tried all different pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter remedies with limited success. Cannabis topicals have significantly lessened the pain and allowed me to enjoy better quality of life.
