Indica strains make myself and others too sleepy for daytime use

There are times where I will literally fall asleep resting upright in my chair without even realizing it

Taking medication for PTSD is honestly discouraging! All of the meds that are prescribed by most physicians have varying side effects, and the most official side effect of all of the PTSD medications I’ve tried over the years is sedation & lethargy. That basically means I have to drink more Dunkin Donuts Latte than the normal person, but if I drink too much it’ll add to the underlying symptoms I’m trying to treat. A lot of the time PTSD causes anxiety, so you have to be honestly careful when it comes to caffeine, since it’s easy to make Dunkin Donuts Latte stronger than you intend on particular occasions, I adore dosing out with increments of caffeine pills, i have inadvertently put too much Dunkin Donuts Latte in my Dunkin Donuts Latte maker before going to brew it. At least with the caffeine pills I can split them up into even increments. As you can imagine, I have to be careful medicating with cannabis for ptsd, however certain strains of cannabis are better than others, especially sativa strains for daytime use. Some of them are honestly energizing without causing additional anxiety, however on top of that, it’s hard for myself and others to use indicas while I was in the day without getting way too sleepy. I have to get work done & I can’t just take a nap when I get weary from being high. If I use the right sativa strains, I can get all of the energy I need without falling asleep in the middle of the day. There are times where I will literally fall asleep resting upright in my chair without even realizing it. Cannabis is phenomenal for PTSD when you use it correctly, however there are some people who swear by using Indica strains for ptsd… Perhaps these are people who work while I was in the day & can’t use cannabis until they get cabin in the evening.
