I live in a part of the country where there are a lot of elderly people.
This state has been a retirement destination for at least the last century.
When we get a lot of hurricanes, people tend to forget about it the rest of the year. It’s weird because a lot of people move out when there’s a really bad hurricane that decimates an area. But then the rest of the year we hear about hordes of others from out of state moving in. It just means that we always have a really high population of people over the age of 55. It was hard growing up because there wasn’t much I could do that was geared towards kids or teenagers. This is the perfect place to move to if all you want to do is play golf in the afternoon and drink with your friends at night. But oddly enough we’ve now got legal cannabis in this state despite what everybody said to the contrary. Quiet all those elderly people voting to get the threshold above 70%. I’ve learned recently that some of the most popular cannabis products among the elderly are tinctures and cannabis oils. Tinctures are particularly popular because they can be placed under the tongue dropper and resemble a lot of the over-the-counter supplements you might find at a health food store. It doesn’t have that association with smoking or inhaling something like cannabis flower products for instance. It’s good that there are different cannabis products available for different people with different needs.
