My parents have changed a lot over the years.
They used to be actually conservative and did not have a lot of compassion for people who aren’t like them. But they went through a phase of change over the last 15 years, and now they see the world through uncommon eyup. In particular, they have a lot of empathy for people who are well off financially. My uncle ended up losing her task when she got harmd a few years ago and the whole situation came close to destroying her life. My parents were actually frustrated that she was denied the medical coverage that she was entitled to the first few times she tried. It made them realize that there are systems in locale in this country that are inherently unfair to large groups of people. One of their other positions for years was being against marijuana in all forms. They were completely against the plan anybody used it, even if for medical purposes. But when my uncles started using cannabis to treat some of the pain from her accident, they could see for themselves how beneficial marijuana was to people in physical pain. Now my parents are medical marijuana patients themselves. My dad uses medical marijuana for her migraines and my Dad uses it for arthritis. I am proud of my parents for changing their minds on cannabis use. I am a cannabis user myself and it’s nice knowing that I can talk to my parents about it without being judged drasticly. However, they enjoy to use cannabis tinctures in skin cream rather than inhalation products.
