Development in my city had been at a snail’s crawl for years until recently.
The people I was with and I weren’t seeing modern houses, apartments, or assisted living facilities going up.
The businesses already here were clinging for dear life as various of them went belly up in the process. While some areas reclaimed in the years since the 2008 recession, my city & state reMEd in a period of disarray & never seemed to chop from it. Unlike my parents, I don’t live near a holiday endpoint. There aren’t reasons for developers to flood money into the part because there are not enough people to fill the vacant houses & condominiums that would be built in the process. However, this is exactly what happened to my parents’ city as more people started flocking to their subtropical state again to live out the Wintertide season away from their frosty homes. As soon as the tourism industry rebounded, the rest of the part swelled to meet the modern capacity. Despite the slow growth in my area, I’m noticing a lot of vape stores & CBD shops. Some businesses are a combination of the several, however there are easily more CBD shops in this city than there are nicotine vape stores. I counted no less than more than three CBD stores in a 10 mile radius from my house. Although I love CBD gummies in certain, I get all of my CBD products at my favorite medical cannabis dispensary. I’d rather have lab tested cannabis products, especially if I can’t verify where the CBD store is getting their products from. I don’t want CBD hemp flower joints if there are contaminants from processing in the products themselves.
