It’s hard to believe that it was only a year ago that I had to have a medical professional help me get a marijuana card. When I got to go to the medical marijuana dispensary for the first time, I was in awe. I had access to marijuana flower, wax, resin, vape pen cartridges, and shatter. There were only a few medical marijuana dispensaries around our area, and the dispensary I used seemed to have the lowest prices of them all. I had to wait for the good sales to happen so I could afford to purchase anything, but those visits weren’t infrequent. It has now been a year, and I have moved to another part of the country. I was surprised to find that not only do they have legal medical marijuana, but they also have legal recreational marijuana. The amount of marijuana dispensaries also surprised me. My biggest surprise came when I went into the marijuana dispensary. Even though marijuana is 100% legal for both medical and recreational use, the prices are more than 50% cheaper than where I used to live. I received a notice that it was time for me to renew my medical marijuana card. I called the medical facility that helped me get my card and told them I was now living in another state where they had legal medical and recreational marijuana. I told them it wasn’t necessary to have a medical marijuana card to get my marijuana therapy. I was glad that I no longer had to worry about having a medical marijuana card. This was an excellent move for me.
