For the last month, I had been seeing flyers all over town about the legal recreational cannabis dispensary opening in our area.
I went to the shopping center last week and they had a grand opening sign on one of the store fronts.
The cannabis dispensary was going to be opening in my favorite shopping center. When we got the date for the grand opening of the legal recreational cannabis dispensary, my friends and I were ready to go check it out. I took $200 out of the bank and planned on getting some marijuana since everything was 25% off. The day the cannabis dispensary opened, they had a live band for the grand opening celebration. There were several food trucks, and representatives from several different cannabis corporations, were handing out free products and samples. I walked over to the wall where they had all the edibles. I picked up some cookies that were laced with THC. They had a cooler with different types of drinks that all had different amounts of THC and CBD. I also saw some cannabis syrup that had 1,000 mg of THC. It was on sale and I thought it looked cool. I purchased the cannabis syrup and barely listened to the budtender when she told me to put it into tea or coffee for the best experience. I didn’t have tea or coffee, but I did have water. I placed a small amount of cannabis syrup into my water bottle and it sank to the bottom. I drank the water, but ten minutes later, I was sicker than a dog. I was so angry that I had just wasted $25 on the cannabis syrup.
