My friends are always teasing me for being a klutz.
It isn’t that I don’t watch where I’m going, but anything that can cause a slip up, finds me.
Last week, my friends and I made plans to go on a camping trip over the weekend. Since I live closest to the recreational marijuana dispensary, I offer to go pick up our marijuana supplies for the weekend. I walked into the dispensary, excited to get all the snacks and drinks we needed for the weekend. I had picked up several different types of chocolate candies, gummies, and hard candy. I grabbed a dozen each, chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies that had 20 mg of THC in each cookie. I also grabbed a couple six packs of different sodas that were laced with THC. I spent a little over $200 and I was ready to go home. I was just heading to the door, and I didn’t notice there was some water on the floor. There were no wet floor signs, and naturally, I was the one to find the water. My feet went out from under me and I remembered hearing a crack and my scream, right before I passed out. When I woke up there was an ambulance attendant looking down on me. He told me I had a concussion and a broken elbow, but the marijuana products were all still intact. I almost laughed but it hurt too much. I also knew my camping trip wasn’t going to happen that weekend, which made the pain even worse..
