We needed an online ordering system.

Since they can take their time shopping, they will buy more and not feel pressured

I run a reasonably large cannabis dispensary in the valley. We have over 15,000 square feet of space that includes a lounge, a juice bar, and the marijuana shop. At any one time, we have over 1,000 different products in our store and many of them are on sale. We carry concentrate, tinctures, vape pen cartridges, flower, and edibles of many types. We had only been open for about three weeks when I realized that having an online ordering system would bring in even more business than we already had. Our lobby is generally so full that my budtenders aren’t even able to get a break. We had a manager’s meeting within the first month of my taking over the cannabis dispensary. The owner of the company asked for input and I told him that we needed an online ordering system for the cannabis dispensary. He completely ignored my suggestion and moved on to the next suggestion. During the next manager’s meeting, I once again brought online ordering. I was able to add that we could put our inventory into the website, and make it just like the store. Customers could take time to peruse the entire inventory of the cannabis dispensary. Since they can take their time shopping, they will buy more and not feel pressured. The following manager’s meeting, the owner of the cannabis dispensary group, told us that he had an internet store implemented for each cannabis dispensary. They were expected to be up and running by the end of the week. Our cannabis dispensary ran more smoothly and we doubled our business.
