CBD gummies for sleep

I have struggled with insomnia for as long as I can remember. MAny nights, I have an incredibly hard time falling asleep, as I just can’t seem to get relaxed at night. Prescription sleep medications have many adverse side effects, and also pose a risk of addiction. More natural remedies like melatonin work for me sometimes, but typically leave me feeling tired and groggy the next morning. The most effective remedy for sleep I have discovered is CBD. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in the cannabis plant that works by binding to the cannabinoid receptors in our brain. When I first tried CBD, I was a little nervous that I would feel high and find it even harder to sleep, but the budtender at my local cannabis dispensary assured me that I wouldn’t even notice the effects of CBD, but I would feel more relaxed and be able to sleep. The first night I tried the CBD gummies, I took two, as recommended by my budtender, and got ready for bed as I always do. After I showered and brushed my teeth, I laid down in my bed. Usually I notice the insomnia here, and my racing thoughts make it difficult for me to relax and fall asleep, but after taking the CBD gummies, after I laid in bed I quickly felt myself feeling more and more relaxed and before I knew it, I was awake the next morning. The best part is, I didn’t feel any of the effects of the CBD the next day, and I woke up feeling rested and refreshed. CBD gummies have now become a part of my nightly routine, and I have been sleeping better than ever.
