Medical marijuana oils are used to make most products at dispensaries

The first time I had marijuana oil back in college a decade ago, it wasn’t very good.

A friend of mine made it with butane but he didn’t properly purge the solvent from the end product and you could taste it whenever you inhaled the smoke or vapor.

When I had it a few years ago, a friend knew someone in California who was shipping them to our state through the mail system. Even though it was allegedly CO2 extracted cannabis distillate oil, it was so dark that it was almost black. At the time I thought that this was normal, but now I know otherwise. When I got cannabis distillate oil from a cannabis dispensary recently, it was phenomenal and it was a light amber color. I learned that these marijuana oils are actually at the heart of many of the popular products at the cannabis dispensary. When you purchase marijuana tinctures, those have marijuana oil mixed with alcohol so they will dissolve under the tongue. If you get a topical cream, that will have marijuana oil in it as well. Capsules and edibles are also formulated with cannabis distillate oil in most situations. Last but not least, you will find marijuana oils in cannabis vape cartridge products. Sometimes terpenes or propylene glycol are used to thin the oil enough to make it easier to vaporize, but otherwise it’s 100% cannabis distillate oil inside. I’m amazed that one single product could be used to make dozens of other products that are on the same shelves at the dispensary. Many people have no clue about this fact when they shop for their cannabis.
