One of my customers visits the pot store every Monday morning, right after we have our weekly delivery of supply.
The guy absolutely loves Blue dream cannabis, and he tries to purchase everything in stock. The manager even orders extra supplies if we can find items that are strain specific.
Last Monday, I was in charge of helping Max with his order. I knew what he wanted as soon as he walked up to the counter. I exchanged some pleasant words with the guy and I went back to the storage room to gather the blue dream items in stock. I looked all over the storage room, but I couldn’t find anything. I looked in the daily boxes that were still unpacked, but I didn’t find anything. I talked to the manager and she double checked the order. She went through the order product by product. Everything in the blue dream strain was out of stock at the distributor. The manager offered to break the news to Max, but I decided to break the bad news to our customer. He was a little upset, but he didn’t get angry like some people do. He thanked me for taking time to look, but he didn’t buy anything else. Blue dream is a great strain for relaxing and feeling happy and uplifted, but we have plenty of additional sativa and sativa dominant strains that might be just as nice if we would be willing to give them a try. Maybe I will suggest something different next Monday if the guy comes back to my register.
