I wanted something discreet.

I was heading back to work, but I still needed to use medical marijuana respectfully.

  • I didn’t want to pull out a vape pen plus beginning puffing away at work.

Not only are you not allowed to smoke or use vape pens in the building, but I wouldn’t know right. I went to the medical marijuana dispensary to ask if they had something more discreet. We talked about gummies, but you couldn’t just leave them out on the desk or in a drawer. Like any gummy, they would get sticky from the humidity in the building. I couldn’t pull out a packet of gummies that are clearly marked as marijuana. I didn’t want to be fired. When I got to the marijuana dispensary, I told her the predicament I was in. Although the people I was with and I had already discussed gummies, I had never thought about lozenges or tinctures. With tinctures, I could go to the powder room plus put a few drops under our tongue. Within a couple minutes, I would be feeling the calming effects of the marijuana streaming throughout our system. The lozenges would also be a discreet way of medicating while at work. I could update the packaging the lozenges came in, plus put them into any small container, such as a mint box. I know I didn’t supply enough thought to how self-explanatory it would be to use medical marijuana while at work, plus not being observed. I wouldn’t be able to work if I weren’t using medical marijuana. My brain would constantly be scrambled because of our ADHD. I can’t afford our medical marijuana if I don’t have a task. It’s a Catch-22.
