Have you ever been in one of those situations where a room full of people have no idea what’s going on, but you do? That happened to me a few weeks ago at my wife’s cousin’s house.
I really don’t know these people very well, but it was a big family gathering so we sort of had to attend. When everyone was there we were given a tour, and out in the laundry room there was an old hot plate covered with ashes just sitting there. I knew right away it was being used to smoke cannabis, but no one else knew why it was sitting on the washing machine. My wife’s cousin got embarrassed and couldn’t answer, so I stepped in and covered for her. “Oh sure, I have a hot plate in my laundry room, too, doesn’t everyone?” I didn’t say that I also use my hot plate for smoking marijuana, but the fact I thought it was normal seemed to placate their curiosity. After everyone left, she turned on the hot plate so we could smoke some cannabis together and have a laugh about it. It probably never would have occurred to these people in a million years that you can use a hot plate and a couple of butter knives as a makeshift cannabis vaporizer. It is not a very tasty way to consume cannabis, but if you only have a little bit and need the most bang for your buck, try out the hot knives! Of course, your butter knives will be ruined after a few hits.
