My friends & I go walking every morning.
- After all of the youngsters leave the home for school, we walk around the city.
Our loop is 3 & a half miles long & it is a nice amount of exercise each morning. I do not entirely love to walk, however our friends regularly provide a stimulating & interesting conversation & it makes me forget that I am exercising. Thursday morning, our friends we are strangely quiet. It seemed care about they were keeping a secret, but I couldn’t get anyone to tell me what was going on, and every time I mentioned our child Jack, our friends tried to change the subject. I finally decided to ask them if I was crazy. That’s when I found out that they were keeping a secret about our son! No one wanted to tell me the truth about Jack, however Amy finally broke down & shared the news. The ladies were at the craft store on Sunday & they saw our child coming out of the marijuana dispensary. They were horrified & assumed I would be equally shocked. I pretended to be surprised, but I knew that our child was using recreational cannabis to help with his migraines. The kid has experienced bad migraines since he was 10 years old. The one thing that absolutely stops the pain & swelling is cannabis. My child was upfront & honest about the medical marijuana use & I’ve known for a long time. As long as he is safely using something prescribed the nurse, I’m not anxious with his use of pot.
