My spouse plus I went to a doctor to get a prescription for medical marijuana. It was a relatively self-explanatory process, although a bit more money than both of us expected to pay. The doctor had a fee plus the state wanted a chunk of money as well. My spouse plus I usually purchase dried medical marijuana flower from the dispensary. It has a distinct smell plus flavor. The smell is so distinct that it takes some time to dissipate. It’s hard to get the smell out of clothes plus upholstery, so the two of us do not use medical marijuana inside of our home. Every one of us smoke outside on the back porch instead. Every one of us have a table plus a couple of hairs on the aptio, but not many of weeks ago, the two of us were alarmed when a police officer pulled into the driveway. My spouse plus I instantly went inside of the house. The officer knocked on the front door. I asked to come inside, however I agreed to go outside to talk. The officer informed me that 1 of the neighbors called because they smelled marijuana. I quickly informed the officer that medical marijuana is not illegal in this state plus I flashed our medical marijuana card. The officer did not want to tell me which of the neighbors called to complain, however I am almost certain it is the lady in the brown lake house on the other side of the street… She constantly walks her animal past our lake house plus she constantly tries to look over the fence. I am sure she was being nosey plus decided to complain when she smelled medical marijuana.
