But when the doctor uttered the word cancer, I just simply couldn’t believe it. A cancer diagnosis was the last thing I was expecting to hear from the follow up to test for back pain. They were just so in my corner and in such a supportive, compassionate and yet very positive about all of it. It was like of course I’ll beat this because I have the whole crew from the legal weed store behind me. Once treatment started, the medical marijuana became so important. The cannabis flower product helped me deal with the nausea and even helped me with appetite so I could eat healthy food for healing. But the cannabis products also really helped me stay positive and be hopeful while also just staying in the moment.
