I called the doctor to make an appointment and told them that I wanted to get a medical marijuana card. The receptionist told me to bring $250 cash with me, and then gave me the appointment. After speaking to the doctor for a total of 10 minutes, he filled out the paperwork needed and told me that I would have an email within the next 24 hours. After receiving the email I had to pay the state $35 to get my medical marijuana card. I thought this was the end of the big costs, until I got to the medical cannabis dispensary and realized the cost of the medical marijuana.
