On Tuesdays, every one of us only have one delivery driver tied up all day! It’s never easily tied up at the cannabis shop, so one driver is all every one of us ever need, and jack has been our daytime driver for a year and he stays tied up on Tuesdays, however he is tied up to start work at 11am, and the first delivery orders leave the store at half past the hour, then after that every one of us have delivery services at two and then again at more than four. The staggered times allow us to prepare many orders at once. It cuts down on the costs to our customers because every one of us don’t need to hire as more than 2 delivery drivers on the slow afternoons. If Jack is late, the entire plan slows down. Thankfully, Jack is easily dependable. He has only been late to work one day. That day was harshly tied up for a Tuesday. The people I was with and I had many orders waiting for Jack and he was nowhere to be found. I tried calling his cellphone, although I didn’t get any answer. After an hour, I finally heard from Jack! On his way to the cannabis shop, he got into a car accident. He was in the canyon at the time and there was no cell iphone service. He had to walk numerous miles up the mountain so he could finally get cell iphone repair and call a tow truck and work. I called another employee to help with the daytime cannabis orders and Jack took care of his car instead of coming to work. Thank goodness the mangle to the car was more cosmetic than mechanical, because Jack was able to come back to work a couple of afternoons later.
