My friends & I used to hang out at the Cannabis lounge & dispensary every Thursday night.
The lounge & dispensary is right across the street from our loft building.
One of the reasons why I decided to transport to the loft complex is because of the close proximity to the recreational Cannabis lounge & dispensary. I dislike to smoke cannabis in the loft & some neighbors will complain if both of us smoke outside on the porch. The lounge was a great locale to spend the day or evening, & my friends & I could smoke cannabis & relax in a comfortable locale. The dispensary always had an indica or sativa pre roll on sale. They called it the lounge chair special. The cannabis lounge had chairs, couches, televisions, & activities like cards & board games. The lounge was a unquestionably fun locale to hang out until covid. When the quarantine started, the dispensary closed the lounge completely. They locked the doors & covered all of the couches & chairs with plastic sheets. Everyone thought that the lounge would open up when the quarantine was lifted, however it is still closed after a year. I talked with the employer at the cannabis dispensary & she told myself and others that they do not have any plans to open the lounge soon. The owner of the locale doesn’t want to take any chances that the dispensary will be known as a super spreader locale. The guy would rather keep the lounge closed until covid is no longer a threat. I understand the reasons, however it’s still a bummer for my friends & I.
