When my mom died, my dad and I were with her.
It was actually very peaceful.
She’d been fighting cancer for 2 years but thankfully, the end came swiftly with little fear or pain. Much of those last few years, my mom was using medical marijuana as part of her treatment regimen. Dad would take her down to the local cannabis spot to get the indica and sativa strains for sale that helped her. The indica strains for sale were particularly helpful with the nausea she had from the treatments. Additionally, the indica products helped my mom be less sore as well. The sativa products were great for her headspace. My mom has always been the sort of person who is positive and looks toward hope and happiness. She’s always been this way and her battle with cancer was no different. The sativa products from the local cannabis spot helped her so much to achieve a perspective about what she was going through. Dad took her death hard and I decided to move in with him for a while to help him transition to being alone, sell the house and just support. Shortly after my mom died, I was surprised when my dad wanted to go to the local cannabis spot. He had not been one to use recreational marijuana as far as I knew. But it turns out that mom had him try it with her as she thought it would help ease his worry and pain as well. Turns out, Dad definitely got benefit from the cannabis products and he also just loved everyone at the cannabis dispensary he took mom to. So, we’re just keeping that routine going.
