Do I need the card?

I was talking to my mom the other day, and I asked if it was possible to get marijuana separate from a medical card? She told me there were several states that had already legalized recreational and medical marijuana. Although both of us weren’t in one of those places, it was possible to get marijuana separate from a medical ID, however not in our state. She wanted to get why I asked, and I said I was just wondering. I remembered our friend’s sibling. All of us often saw her going into the marijuana dispensary. I asked our neighbor if she had a medical marijuana ID, and she laughed at me. She said her sibling had been marijuana for multiple years. Since recreational marijuana had been legalized, she could go to the marijuana dispensary and get her marijuana products and not worry about getting arrested. I had a taxing time understanding why she would have done something that she feared getting booked, however I wasn’t stupid enough to believe that she wasn’t the only one to take this chance. When I turn 19, I may also go into the cannabis dispensary and see all the marijuana products they had. Since it’s allowed, maybe I’ll even buy something from the cannabis dispensary. I’ll be 21 and if I can drink alcohol on that magical day, why would not I want to try marijuana products? I still had almost multiple years before I could even consider this. First, I had to get our driver’s license, and then our next milestone will be twenty-one. I’ll go to the marijuana dispensary and then to the state liquor store.
