When our state legalized both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana, I was beyond overjoyed.
- This was a moment that I wasn’t sure would ever actually materialize.
The days of getting whatever sort of cannabis products I could get were over. Plus, I wasn’t going to get busted for just using an herb. The first cannabis dispensary in the city opened up and I was in line that day. It was way across town and I had to take a couple of different buses just to get there. But just being able to legally purchase marijuana for sale was such a big deal to me. I couldn’t believe that I was just walking into a cannabis dispensary to buy cannabis products the way I’d walk into a grocery store. That first cannabis dispensary was great and I was thrilled to be able to shop for marijuana for sale there. But it was sort of new and they were learning their way. So there wasn’t that much variety to their cannabis products selection. Then, the local cannabis spot opened right in my side of the city. Shoot, I can even ride my bike there it’s that close. Yet, it was the selection of recreational marijuana in that place that just blew my mind. I walked in and my jaw just dropped. For one, the place was set up like a premium food and wine store. But they had everything! Edibles, cannabis oils, marijuana oil pens and just so many new cannabis strains I’d never even heard of. That first trip, I spent more than an hour just walking the aisles and talking to the staff.
