Last week we were sitting on my bed talking about school.
He was telling me how some of the guys on the football team had started using marijuana and other drugs. I gave him a look of warning, and he told me to relax. He had never tried any drugs, other than CBD and he wasn’t going to try them. He said he wasn’t even hanging out with them, except for football practice and during the games. One of the guys had made gummies out of some pot his sister had in her room. He was passing them out and telling the guys it was just CBD. He and I went into town the next day to get some things for dad, and they were selling CBD gummies at the local convenience store. He bought four packets of ten and said he had an idea. He opened all the packets and put them in a small baggy. He wanted to see if they noticed the difference between the CBD gummies and the pot gummies. He gave two to his best friend and said he had bought them from a teammate. The guy was convinced he was going to get high. An hour after he ate the CBD gummy, he began to act oddly. He said it had to be the gummy because he felt all tingly and he was seeing weird colors. It was all my brother could do to keep from laughing. He left him go for about five minutes and he told him it was CBD gummies. His friends shoulders dropped and he said he really thought he was getting high.
